1. He made the potato seem like it was royal and had guards guard it because, when things get guarded people want to steal it. He made it compulsory for prostitutes to wear the veil.
2. I'm not sure what that means. I think it was pointless to do that because there really is no change besides a few minutes shorter.
3. You can't change reality. A reality is the reality. You can change how people think because it is so easy to teach someone how to do something and why you do it.
I agree with what you said in number 2 because it wasn't really any shorter so, they didn't really solve the problem. I also agree with you on number 3 because you can't really change reality but you can try to sway one person's perspective.
